Pic Request VTS Drivers side Engine mount

   Just about to drop the VTS lump in the car but cant work out the different mount on the drivers side.
   
   Rep for pictures of said mount in a vehicle

   thats not a vts mount. its an 8 valve mount. you need to grind the mount if you want to use that on a 16v engine.

   only way to get a 8v mount to fit 16v engine

   i drove to oxford to fit an engine, it was either do that to get him going or go home leaving both engines on his drive floor lol

    to fit it in your 1.1 shell you need to use a 1.1 mount like so

    why not just use the proper 16v mount though? 8v doesnt have enough bolt holes.

    williams thats what I was thinking ....why not use the proper 4 hole vts mount and not the wrong three hole one

    what do you mean? that is the 16v mount.

    the 16v mount will not bolt to the 1.1 chassis leg

    never dabbled with 1.1s. whats diferent with their mounts?

    Its a 1.1 and i know that the picture was of a vtr mount.
    
    The 1.1 mount i have looks completely different where as i now have a VTS mount.
    
    How can i fit the vts mount to the chassis of a 1.1 ?

    The mount on my 1.1 has exactly the same fixings to the chassis leg as the VTS one does if that helps at all.

    im gonna go scrappy tomorrow and pick up a VTR/1.1 drivers side arm mount thingy and compare the two.
    
    Have been trying to find a GTi/VTS to see how they fit but no-one has one local to me (Basildon, Essex)
