Throttle Body Question!

   Was having a conversation with a friend of mine today and he suggested changing my existing TB with that off of a PUG XSI, which itself is an 8valve.
   
   With the TB off the XSI being bigger etc would it be possible to fit and would i actually see any gains?

   am not tpo sure but if it fits then it should give you some power probs better throttle response not much bhp!! pretty much like the ones spencer sells on here he takes the standard one and ports and polishes these and they give a improved throttle response mate..

   yeah i did see spencers one, but as i have a french salvage yard round corner, i could pick up the TB from there for peanuts, then even get that P+P.

   you might as well try it and see how it idles. Have someone ready to turn it off though just in case. If it doesn't work, at least you tried
