#2adjust and bend the hangers... use tie wraps? loosen the exhaust... im sure if you keep on trying u`l get there eventually.... while u tighten it all up get someone to hold it in place... is it a universal exhaust or is it made for a saxo?? is it welded on or clamped on... its just all about trial and error

#3ye easiest way is to get some pliers and bend the hangers. thats the best wau

#4You may have to cut a bit out your bumper like a vtr/s.
-
#5Try and find a local custom exhaust shop to modify the hangers on the cars underneath or on the back box itself. A local garage might do it for you depending on the mechanics in question.
Until then just make it safe so it doesnt fall off or damage the new VT bumper -
#6cheers m8 its a saxo backbox with a clamp on ill give it a go but wont tie wraps just melt with the heat from the exhaust??Quote:adjust and bend the hangers... use tie wraps? loosen the exhaust... im sure if you keep on trying u`l get there eventually.... while u tighten it all up get someone to hold it in place... is it a universal exhaust or is it made for a saxo?? is it welded on or clamped on... its just all about trial and error

#7tie wraps shouldn't melt tbh, dont think it would be hot enough to melt them, tho if your worried about that, you could get some stainless ones off ebay.

#8Try and find a friendly garage and explain the problem, if they are nice blokes they should be able to fabricate or mod they hangers on the car to get the box sitting right, Id avoid places like Hi-Qunts and Kwick-Twats as they are just untrained monkeys and will probally make things worse and charge you loads too

#9nice one think tht is what i will do cheers

#10only go to a agrage as a last resort mate like marc_safc said its trial and error.....i had a similar problem so i swapped some of the rubbers about and it seemed to do the job for me
