how much?

   have got a mk1 r and was thinking about a conversion to the s.
   
   how much should i budget for a conversion ie engine, cooling the whole lot basically.
   
   might help if you guys post how much it cost you to do the conversion?

   really depends on how cheap you can find an engine tbh mate and then the other arts to follow, vts top mount, radiator, unlocked ecu if you dont get the one with the engine and keys!! how longs a piece of string really!! and who is putting in the engine you or a garage???

   Id say sell the car you wanna do the engine conversion on, and buy a VTS saves all the hassel and prob be cheaper in the long run

   done mine for under 600 including tool hire and for the auto electicain to help our problem.
   
   so maybe 500

   depends how far the vtr has been modified. and how good the shell is, its maybe worth soending the extra ££ to have a shell which is mint and you know very well.

   hmm i like my car too much to sell it and start all over again with the mods ive already done. so i think id prefer to convert it to an s.
