    jenvey trottle bodys

just need to send it over and get fitted with the kms ecu

Im assuming that you already have all the other things you are going to need to fit those cams? What about headwork etc? Need to know other things before you can guess a bhp. Exhaust, manifold?

i'd start on the breathin mods first mate such as 4-2-1 manifold, exhaust system, airfilter etc. unless u already have?
  5. #5
    have valve springs ,pullys etc

i was just going to get a head of high flow heads after everything was fitted so i have no heead work done at the moment

is it advised before fitting the cams????

    Hi Flow get mixed reviews!

LSD would make the car more useable!

What spec is the chassic/braking system?
  9. #9
Headwork before the cams is obviously advisable, expecially before you get it mapped.also your gonna fit the cams to take them out again to have the headwork donw, whats the point. High flow doesnt have a good reputation on here, dremel comes to mind.

I dont know much about the duration lift etc of those cams but you may need solids etc. Im not sure though.

braking is black diamond pads with miltex extreme pads vts calipers

cough cough lowering springs standered shocks cough cough

With a big engine spec like that I'd get better brakes from your current set up!
4 pots if budget allows or 206gti180/306gti if lower funds.

A new matched shock/spring combo, but not too low as well!

    this is the cam durations

Inlet duration [0.1mm+cl]: 266° deg, Exhaust duration : 266° deg
Inlet duration [1.0mm+cl]: 242° deg, Exhaust duration : 242° deg
Inlet valve lift [cl=0]: 11.05mm, Exhaust valve lift : 11.05mm
Peak Angle: Inlet 110 deg, Exhaust 110° deg
    Timing [1.0mm+cl](Inlet open - close) / (Exhaust open - close) : 11/51°/51/11°
    Lift at TDC [cl=0]: 2.45mm ; Exhaust lift (TDC) : 2.45
Valve clearances : 1.0mm (pref. 1.5mm). check 5-15° before TDC on exhaust, and after TDC on intake
distance between valve seal and retainer at full lift must be 0.6mm minimum
minimum valve spring travel of 1.0mm at full lift must be provided

i wouldnt of done the head till late late next year oe even 09 if i still had her

and i need to find the time to get over so nothing will be fitted until summer until then im sorting the interior so any pre fitting advise is what im looking for

four pots are way out of budget i was thinking of the 206gti ones but there real hard to come across!!!

what shock/springs do you recomend want about 35mm drop. at the moments my shocks are wanked but so is my gear box so that first priority
  14. #14
i'd look about for a set of 306gti-6 or 206gti180 calipers, the 283mm setup
an when i think of 30-35mm drop i always think of Yates car (member on here) an think he uses some custom made springs
  15. #15
right so do head work and sort brakes and suspension

thanks for the help lads really apreciate it !!!!

put coilovers on, get some nice stiffened shocks, then you can make it as low/high as you want
