I took out my standard cd player (out of a mk2 furio) today, but cant remember which plug goes in where! is the black plug in the bottom socket and the clear one above it or the is the clear one underneath?!

you cant short anything...
the plugs are not the same...
same like in your pc, power connector... you have to be a total idiot to get things wrong...

I know the power is completely different, i mean the other two plugs, the ones that are the same...... surely mixing them up wont do the unit any good!

they have different number of erm connector splines inside :O (in other words the ammount of metal bits inside the plugs) ?

both the ISO connections have different release bits on them.. one will physically not go into the incorrect one and vise versa.. lol
