Super sprint section

    hi all

    I have a 03 vts with the standard exhaust system.

    Would i be able to fit a super sprint center section from the standard manifold to the standard saxo back box?

    Just interested in keeping the standard look or is there no point in doing this unless I upgrade my back box?

    What bore is a standard vts exhaust?

    50mm?

    Not sure on the bore mate, but i think the std box might sound a bit wank. There are some backboxes on the market which are small ovals, piper make one i think

    i think the standard bore for the the center is 1" 1/2 mate, the supersprint is 2" 50mm.
    as above if you decat with a standard b/b people say it sounds poo.

    you can do it mate, and imo i think it sounds ok.

    i had a full mani back straight through section on my vts back box and it just sound similar but with a nice rasp too it.

    cool, although thinking about it now I guess it could sound crap with the standard manifold and back box.
    Could give it a go and see how it sounds.

    Would I have to tell my insurance if I put a straight through center in?
