Spraying Vts Wheels?

    Hey im after a set of vts wheels in black but cant seem to find any so looks like im gonna have to do the spraying myself
    What do i need to do ?
    Isit a hard job?

    Ill have a set for sale in a couple of weeks. Ive just sold some but i should be getting another set in soon.

    i did it mate and mine have turned out pretty much perfect. except for a hair that fell out my head and got stuck in the paint while it was wet

    not a hard job at all, just take your time and leave it 24 hours to dry bewteen layers i.e. primer, 24hours later colour, 24 hours later laquer.

    sand between coats to give a shiny and glossy finish at the end

    oh and work through all the grades of sand paper on your primer, dont skip a grade.

    yeah as above really. i did mine black to save me the £150 that i was being quoted.

    took me about a week but i got the texture as smooth as you like. as robbo said don't skip a grade.

    its all about the preperation work in fairness mate.

    and remember to lacquer them up real good, this does give them extra shine, but also prevents them from chipping and pealing.

    mine have been great for a good 5/6 months now mate
