Mirror caps

    right justa quicker, where can i find the mirror caps to buy? ive tried ebay but no luck, unless i try a car thats being broken down.

    Am i able to jus prepare and paint the plastic caps i have atm?

    they dont have plastic caps on normal mirrors, im ineed of some for my VTR have u tryed a main dealer ?

    you have to just wait for some to come up second hand mate really. you can get em from citroen but i think theyre about 25 quid each

    i think that for 2 mirror caps (unpainted) from the main dealer is about £38 (iirc)

    could always try some 106 GTI mirrors from a breakers, sprayed the right colour they can look pretty good!

    havnt tried the dealer, i guessed they would over charge by a mile, but they seem ok prices to me, i might try phoning a car thats being broken on ebay.

    I thought they wer plastic lol havnt really looked at them haha

    iceman yeah thats them. basically you take your old ones off, bond these on, tape them, and remove tape 24hrs later.

    check out lewisimo's thread he's done them.

    good stuff, when i get paid n some money through paypal im gonna buy those caps and some grill mesh

    i think il end up painting the mirror caps but we'll see, il post some pics up for poeples opinions

    What colorus your car?

    Spray the actual mirros same color as your car and then have carbon caps ftw!
