    Any one bothered with them? or are they worth bothering with?
    anything to do with the MOT if they are too wide?

    i spotted a good looking saxo on ebay with 32mm wheel spacers :O and it looked gorgeous had standard alloys n lowered. would you think its worth bothering on mine, id do it purely for looks tbh not so much the handling.

    jules (jul2vtr) is putting on a spacer kit when her new wheels come, but its because of the off set of the wheels !!!

    i wouldnt bother unless you change the wheels and you need it, im sure you can fail a mot if the wheels stick out to far !!!!!

    Only if the tread sticks out from the car. Aslong as the tread of the tyre is stretched under the arch they will pass!!

    50mm spacers on the rear, with 9J wheels.;

    That's right. The wheels are not "meant to" protrude further than the bodywork.

    sure just whip them off for the old mot.

    but you need to get longer bolts and the like

    Spacers that bolt to the hub are widely used to change stud pattern and offset. So jap wheels on a euro car etc.....
