Just put some vtr alloys on my 02 plate saxo. When i brake, you can feel a small judder in the brake pedal and the brakes are sqeeking, do you think its a coinsidence and need new pads? or have i done something not right?

#2probs need new pads mate, get it serviced imo.
-
#3buckled alloys?
-
#4If they were buckled they would judder the car all the time?
Surely? -
#5depends how badly buckeled?
put the ols wheels on and see if the problem persists -
#6I will be doing that tomorrow morning, however i dont think it will stop the problem because if the wheel(s) were buckled it would judder the car all the time, it ONLY does it when braking.
-
#7wheels may not be balanced for one.. tracking may need a slight adjustment. brakes could be binding.. give them a clean... check the lip on the discs and the pad for thickness...
the sky is your limit -
#8Have you used flat set vtr alloy bolts if not that will be the problem tbh.
-
#10could have a slight buckle m8
or ur break pads might be knackerd u hadda look at ur pads? -
#11Could be a few things then mate. The bolts are the right ones.
1. Wheels buckled.
2. Wheels need balanced.
3. brake pad are knackerd.
4. Wraped discs. -
#12are the wheel bolts tight ?
-
#13wheel bolts are tight, brakes are squeekin like hell so im puttin it down to new pads
the wheels are balanced, but will have to see. -
#14Try swoping the front & rear wheels over.
