Gearbox Rebuilds/Refurbishments? Recommendations

   Does anybody know of anywhere reputable that does refurbishments on Gearboxes, either for existing boxes or supply of a refurbished box.
   
   Any rough ideas on price?

   not too far from you try m brown gearboxes in derby ill pm you there number. they will repair or replace whichever you want

   up here you can pick a refurbed box up for £200

   i can ask a mate for you how much he could refurb you one mate?
   
   Mine was £1,200 from gmc, totally refurbed that included a brand new and strengthened vts gearset, all seals and a quaffe diff put in

   I cant afford the diff right now but i want one with the whole shibang changed and not just minor bits like seals etc.
   Hate crap syncro's so i want those to be absolutely spot on too

   My gearbox was around £600 fully refurbed. Can't recommend any places though sorry

   What did that include Scott? I know just for the quaffe on mine was £600ish, gearset was £300 so £300 ish for all new seals and labour i thought was good

   I don't know really. They said that they had replaced everything as new but how much of that is true I don't know

    I'm told parts for the whole refurb are £175, plus labour to actualy do the job, I'll PM you my mates price
