how difficult are 306 gti 6 brakes...

to fit, is it pretty straight forward like a straight bolt on?

    or do they need modifying?

The caliper carriers are slightly too big and foul the suspension strut, you can gring metal of either. I prefer to take it of the carrier not the strut....

Its not that much to remove but you will need a power tool, no file will do. Get the grinder out and keep offering it up as you go.

But all the bolts line up on the standard saxo setup - very straight forward

do they make much of a difference mate ?

    a vast amount

    deff worth it IMO

ok to run on standered lines / master cylinder ?

Lines and mc is widly debated with lots of opinions
the lines i always suggest you fit longer önes made fron stainless braided hose.
This is due them running the risk of pulling over tìght when on full lock or suspension travel.
The mc you have to try with out and c how you find it.

braided lines are always a worth wile mod

with the gti6 master cyliner, there are only 2 pipes coming off it, which then go to a transfer block thingy at the front of the engine bay, so i would personally say, for ease use the standard master cylinder.

i have a XSi master clyinder on mine with a GTi rear disc beam (sorry im not sure what the saxo equivelents are but im sure you can get the jist)

i have standard gti brakes all round and when i brake my rear end wants to overtake my front so it takes a lot of getting used to

brilliant upgrade, requires 30seconds of grinding on the carriers and the bolt on. Fantastic upgrade on a saxo. Good pads and braided lines and you wont look back.
    You need 15inch wheels though
