URGENT: bottom balljoint & bushes overhaul

   Hi guys
   
   Im giving my wishbones an overhaul but im stuck for ideas of how to the balljoint out & the bush out.
   
   The balljoint i assume comes out the bottom of the wishbone but iv tried to press it out with a vice & hammered to my hearts content too. Any tips?
   
   The bush i assume i need to remove the metal tube out the middle first? Or is it a case of drilling through the rubber & pushing the whole thing out at once?
   
   Tips, tricks & advice please. Iv got a whole workshop full of equipment at my disposal too!

   Press the bulljoint out on a large press, you probably aren't applying enough pressure.
   
   On the bush, use a heat gun and burn it out.

   burn the rubber off with a blowtorch and it will drop out then hammer the metal outer case in on itself so it callapses and drops out, its takes a fair bit of hammering with a good hammer and a flat head screwdriver/chisel
   
   as for the ball joint take it to a garage and get them to press it out and press the new 1's in for you they'll only charge you a £5er £10 at the most

   Ta Luke, got it all done eventually with only a single casualty.
   
   
   It was about 50 years old too, approching retirement
   
   The last balljoint snapped in at the same time that snapped off, bloody big vice it is too, dont let all the giant tools & nuts in the pic throw you off lol.
