popping

hey guys, i was just wondering how do u get my car to pop when u start to slow down, i think it sounds really nice can anyone help me?

depends what kind of a exhaust system you have or are getting.
A less restrictive one will be more poppy. Ie: full system with decat than compare to say just and exhaust backbox.

do u have to get a full system, cant u just have a backbox and a decat? im wanna get a magnex backbox

yeah,i have full scorpion system with de-cat and manifold with 5" jap pipe and that pops alot!i think a set of uprated cams make exhaust pop more 2!

mines a fully unrestriced system and burbles n pops alot. Could still do it a bit just with backbox and decat though mate.

yer i thought it still cud coz my mates only got a backbox and a decat but i just wanted to make sure, hes got a janspeed backbox and a green induction kit,

while on the subject boys....

ive got a magnex cat back system, with a silencer sort of in the middle of the car... but this scrapes on the multi story car parks sometimes, so was finkin of havin a straight through pipe to replace the cat and the silencer, but, on here i recall seein something about the saxo performs better with two silencers ? any feedback ?

i got a 4"remus back box and i have had the cat taken off and it pops loads.

I have had a straight through decat, and custom centre section made up, and it performs alot better than before.
Lovely grumble to it aswell.

I've got a Supersprint centre section with Magnex back box and De-Cat and it pops and burbles like a good un!

i have a pipex 3.5 inch and isnt too loud and isnt too quiet, but when it is hot it pops on the 'down-revs'
