How hard is it to replace the water pump and cam belt?
Any tips on how to change it? Any particular make of cam belt thats better than the rest?

    Cheers in advance

im not sure how difficult it is but best to consult the haynes manual and maybe a friend who has done it before.

as for the brands, obviously genuine citroen is best but o.e. quality is good enough too - this is what 99% of garages use when replacing parts when you drop the car off to them to be repaired/serviced.

cam belt - dayco (o.e. brand) and water pump - probably somethin like airtex(i think its called) or ruville.

    hope this helps.

not a big job if you are handy with the spanners m8 just makseure you clean all the old gasket off where the old water pump sat so you get a nice clean area for new gasket and pump to sit. As for the belt makesure you mark everything up and turn it over by hand a few times to makesure the timing is not out that much that it causes valve/piston contact hope this helps also handy to have a haynes at hand.

just make sure you take the time to align the timing properly before you remove belt etc, put some marks on with tip-ex and then make sure there still alligned after belts on and then again after 2 hand revs of the engine mate.

if your not sure i wouldnt do the job as its a big bill if you get it wrong!!
