raceland manifold on a 1.0?

  1. #1
is the above possible? how hard is it to do? cheers
  2. #2
not much point tbh mate! plus aint to sure raceland have made a manifold suitable for this engine size!

I think this is possible, I think an 8 valve mani i.e. for vtr will fit all 8V models.
  4. #4
cool.... might do it then if it will fit should make things a little smoother

The 1ltr is a shorter engine block so the exhaust and manifold will hang low and the back mount of the manifold can be a problem.

ahhh ok. what can be done about this?

There is no back mount on an aftermarket manifold.

My Supersprint manifold hangs lower but it still just manages to pass above the lower strut so it isn't really a problem

If by back mount you mean where it mounts to the gearbox then the raceland does have this. If it's not in the correct place and you want to mount it, take it to a stainless steel welder, custom exhaust place would be best and they'll move it to the correct position.

The 1.0 litre block is shorter but people have fitted the raceland without any problems
