   the de-cat doesnt attach to the backbox?

   think he means a supersprint straight through pipe. which will fit a magnex. will fit most things.

    it doesn't matter. If it's a MK2 it wont de-cat the car but will still fit. If it's a MK1 the it will de-cat the car and still fit.

    I know it will, I did just say that above before he even corrected himself. Was just checking to see if he had a mk2 or not, in which case he will need his manifold changed. just had all this done to my car.

    not a huge amount to be honest, certainly LOUD, lol. iv got a piper 4-1 manifold with straight through supersprint. its not hugely responsive when pulling away, but is alot better in the higher end of the revs. think it doesnt help with a huge amount of noise coming from it, makes you think you are flooring it and going knowhere. i like it though.
    but if you just keep the standard manifold on, you should find it certainly more nippy off the mark.

    when i ordered my scorpion back box, i was told only supersprint, magnex and scorpion back boxes, mate to a supersprint centre section, without any cutting and shutting
    
    in the end i got a custom centre section made!

    yeah a piper should line up, basically all oem fit backbox's.
    
    Magnex backbox's are not oem fit. need magnex or abp or custom centre to fit.

    Magnex definately doesn't fit to a Supersprint centre without cutting / welding.
