Is this possible without arch work? there will be 40's on the front and 45's on the rear
lowering 60mm on 16's

#2mine was lower 40 on back and had to have 40 tyres because 45's rubbed
-
#3im not liking the sound of that. Im i gonna have to attack it with a grinder then? do u know where exactly it was hitting?
-
#4get 40 profiles all round! theyll be no problems then!
-
#5haha no probs until someone sits in the back lol
-
#6theres a whole chuk in the premium how to's on this
-
#7Put 40's on all round as you should do and you'll have absolutely no problems. I have none with mine
-
#8Sure it would still hit with 40's all round. BODVTS's was rubbing at 40mm with 45's. mines going down 60mm. even with 40's i would think it will still hit. please somebody correct me if im wrong
-
#9im on 17s and 50mm lowered.
its tight to say the least:

Ive got 40mm profiles iirc.
And i need to hammer out the arch and smoth off a weld at the rear.

#10was only on back where was rubbing front was fine even on 40's when went over a bump its rubbed sometimes but other times had 2 people in back and never rubbed
-
#11well mine will rub if theres a full load in the back going over speedbumps. thats not being lowered on 16's. it seeems to hit some sort of metal lip. does anybody know what the lip is for? has anyone had same problems?
-
#12Mine hits the metal lip also! Ive been told to wack it out of the way with a hammer!!! Lol!
-
#13You need 45 profile tyres on 15's on a Saxo so it makes sense to reduce the profile accordingly when you put a bigger rim on... Like its been said a 40 profile tyre would be better.
-
#14theres nothing attached to this lip is there? just in case i whack it out of the way and the bumper or something doesnt sit right
-
#15Just go 50.. will save you hassle
-
#17av got 17s down 80 all round pm if u want any info how to get it down
-
#18ive got 16s on 45s im going to be lowering it 60 soon i will let you know if it scrubs, but if it does theres nothing a grinder cant fix haha
-
#19my mate's got40's on his with 16 and its lower 50 at front and 60 on rear and only rub's when 2 people are in the back
-
#20mines lowered 35 all round on 45s and only rubs when have someone in the back.
-
#21if you have bump stops in and get some decent arch work you wont get any scrubbing at all
-
#22am down 40 mm on 16s wi 40 mm rubber, not done any work on arches and only get rubbin if somes in he back.easy solution is no back seat passengers, lol!! speed bumps are a nightmare tho even wi small ones as center sections scrapes, plus some multi storeys are a no go
