standard vtr airbox

   on the mk1, is the standard air box for the filter and the breather pipe the same for the black top and silvertop models for the vtr?

   Right, although what you've written makes no sense I'll give it a bash.
   
   There's 2 different types of VTR Airbox. One for the MK1 (Black and Silver) and a different design in the MK2. The MK1 airbox takes the cylindrical filters whereas the MK2 (I think) take the flat panel one's.
