Illegal bucket seats

   Hi how can you tell what bucket seats are legal or illegal any help would be great.

   as long as they are fastend to car properly any seat is ok

   As above really, as long as it is a dedicated car seat and its bolted in properly and has seatbelts still, any should be legal

   make sure you use proper mounting points

   you cant, but some 'cheaper' seats can collapse on a heavy impact and cause you serious injury.

   Oh right I just seen in some magazines and on the internet that some seats are FIA approved but not sure what that means

   FIA approved is just for motorsport use.

   Oh right so if they are not FIA approved then you can use them on the road same with harnesses then mate

    at my local market they sell them and there just made so bad litteraly just out of pollystyrene
    
    just have a dam good look and think will this hold together in a major crash try not to think about the fact the saxo wonr hold together tho

    i dont know but there is no way there legal mate honestly the like 60.00 a seat and i cant even tell you how weak they are
