Changing Ball Joint

   Is there a way of changing a ball joint with the wishbone still on the car? if i can find some thing to put under the wish bone to stop it moving down, could i twat the ball joint with a hammer?
   
   Or should i take it off and hammer it out ?
   
   whats the best way? haynes manual is full of shit tbh never really read it anymore

   yeah i had to press mine out like.
   good thing is tho the ball joints are only like a 5er.
