Cold air feed

  1. #1
ive just got a BMC and im running the cold air feed through the original cold air intake plastic pipe. im not very impressed myself. i want to get maximum air flow but i dont want to get morette lights andi dont want to drill through the slam panel cuz the saxo's are dangerous as it is lol. anyone got a master plan for me? with pics?

get ya own thread lol. there's a white saxo vts on ebay at the min with a drilled slam panel with an enclosed viper kit. im not keen myself cuz surely you'd lose the strength on the front end?!

i have a gti mate but should be same!! with mine i angles the bmc downwards by tilting the 90 degree silicone hose at the tb, which actually looked better then run the cold air feed under the pipe(think it was coolant) and then down to the n/s of the rad. ended up right up against the front bumper in the meshed grill. has worked fine!!

ive had a look at doin summut similar to that but i think my rad goes all the way down stoppin at the same level as my bumper does. its a bitch!

few people have done it where the fog light would normally go. But i'm told you could get water through the filter, not sure how likely that is.

there is a hole in the metal on the bottom right hand side (as your looking into the bay) of the radiator the cold air feed can be ran too

    mine used to go there

ive seen that hole myself. ill just wondering if enough air would be forced around that area

Can get it down to the big mouth part of the bumper, by curving it round the radiator, it would be fine there!! But procomp ftw
