vtr 2 vts

jst wondering if any1 could help me out,

trying to find out wot sort of work there is in swaping ma vtr engine 4 a vts???

has any 1 done this here b4 and was there any big changes that have to be made.or is it jst out with the old and in with the new and swap the ecu?

any help would be much greatful.cheers

alright mate, ive had a vts conversion on my mk1 vtr! there are a few points that are quite important!

- the vts has a fuel return line which the vtr does not,therefore it runs a bit rich until u fit the fuel return line!

- u need the vts radiator and fans as its much bigger than the vtr!

-u'll also need ecu,wiring loom,key,ignition barrell and imobiliser box all from the same car otherwise it wont start!(wiring loom excluded,u can use any!)

apart from that it'll just go straight in!u will need the manifold and downpipe if not fitting an aftermarket one and the air filter or again an aftermarket one!

u can stick with ur gear box as it works fine!
