    I have a 106 gti with 4-2-1 manifold also a BMC airfilter. and my next mod i was thinking about getting is a set of cams and a dastek unichip to even it out is it worth the money and roughly how much bhp will i gain. cheers

    Obviously depends on the camshafts you decide to use!

    Catcam 708s are the most popular choice around this neck of the woods, as you can use them on standard inlet, and with a good enough re-map of your stock ECU, or map of a standalone ECU, you can make the car drive fairly well. Don't bother with the Dastek... Stock ECU re-map if you are on a budget, or standalone ECU and map if you want the best results.

    With 708s + your current modifications, expect a genuine 150+ BHP figure. ...if the map is good that is.
