powertec induction kit query

    hey all, just bought a powertec SL1x, no major problems on fitting.just that the cone filter has 2 smaller pipes closer to the throttle body,1 is obviously a breather hose. but there is another pipe to the rear of the filter which seems to do nothing, have i bought the wrong kit, ot is this pipe supposed to be left open, any ideas, thanks pickles

    just a little update to my question. I have blocked off the mysterious pipe and am now getting a nice low growl which sounds nice when coupled wi ma new exhaust system, still any1 any ideas wether this is a good idea or not

    i have one but pretty sure mine just has the main "hole" and the one coming off towards the top of the engine>?? LOL
