   definitely eBay i bought a 10,000 mile 1.1 box for 49 quid local to me.

   none going all 1.4 vtrs and vts gearboxes which have a differant gear ratio i understand theres also one for £125 with £20 postage from kings lynn, bit too far away. Cheapest so far wants mine and £150. Any other ideas ?

   Mate, stick a different box in it?
   all Saxo boxes are interchangeable.

   Yes a furio box will fit a 1.1 engine!

   try a place in gateshead called VRS, they only stock pug and citroen parts. its a scrappy, but it has all of the parts off the car and on the shelf, they deliver too
   
   they have a mountain of parts in.

   yes you can put a furio box in a 1.1, actually if you did that, you may notice a decrease in acceleration but better MPG.

    dont know if its the same for citroens, but when i had my escort rs turbo, peeps used to use a box out of a diesel as they had more torque amd were designed to withstand it.
    
    so they say, i never had any bother with the diesel box i fitted to the escort

    the Saxo diesel is hardly torquey though boz, so I could hardly seeing this being true for a Saxo.

    neither was the escort diesel
    
    but it dosnt matter anyway, i didnt realise what car it was for.
    
    i would defo try and hunt the number down for VRS (vehicle recycling spares) in GATESHEAD (north east).
    
    i would be supprised if they didnt have one
