If I was to catch my brace...

   Was driving to work today,
   all of a sudden I had to do some erratic swerving manoevers,
   bastards had dug up the road,
   leaving massive drains sticking up,
   
   if I was to of caught my brace,
   what sorta damage would I be looking at!?

   F**king trashford, Just come back from there today. Check the brace is not bent for a start. If its in shape then chances are your fine. Give it a couple of hard corners aswell to check for any changes. It's attached to the wisebone bolts, so at worse i would guess it would snap the bolts rather than the wisebones??
   
   btw did it actually catch anything?

   I didnt catch but if I wasnt awake...
   Thered of been hell to pay.
   the last drain i drove over in ashford, snapped that wire from my ECU to my starter motor...poxy builders.

   you'd hit the brace and at most probably fuck up the steering alignment if the bolts held and a wishbone bent
   
   just a case of replacing the wishbone and getting the steering double checked

   kk ~ the drain was so high I'd of probably damaged the bumper (poss) or 100% manifold and gearbox.

   you would of known if you caught it mate , i have caught mine a couple of times on country road and even a slight scrape makes quite a noise

   normally just bend the brace and it will hit the manifold, at worst bend the part (blank moment) which the brace attaches too knocking steering out, highly unlikely and sue the shit out of the council
