hi there i have recently bought a original mk1 spoiler for a saxo, and i want to fit it on my westcoast. i kinda have an idea how to fit, but does anyone give me some pointers or even a step by step guide if possible if some one has already had a go at this. also if bonding is also needed to be done what can i use???

use windscreen silicone for bonding.. and also the spoiler bolts through the upper part of the boot. 2 bolts if I remember correctly.

2bolts indeed but if you use a proper adesive then you need not bother

simple. open your boot, you'll see two rubber grommets/sleeves coming out of the top of the boot hatch-one either side. these cover the wiring for the rear lights. pull them out, and drill your mounting holes. these holes line up exactly with the bolts on the spoiler. before you put the spoiler on, put a small bit of sikaflex (buy it in halfords or any parts store) onto the boot hatch. mount the spoiler, screw tight and replace the rubber grommets. it'll all make sense when you actually do it. hope that helps.
