Saxo VTR engine into a Quicksilver!!!

  1. #1
    Hi all,

im sorry to lower the tone of your forum with my peugeot problem. Basiclly i have a 1999 106 quicksilver 1.4 (singleplug ecu). It recently blew a conrod so i had a plan...........I went out and bought a 2001 Saxo VTR silvertop 1.6 engine, gearbox, loom and unlocked ecu (3 plug type).

What i require if anyone can help is a wiring diagram for the round plug behind the passenger headlight. Where the engine loom interfaces with the car loom. Im sure every else will fit and work. Im using the quicksilver raditor and cooling system.

Does anyone know of any probs ill have. I would be very very glad of some advice or diagrams on the wiring.

sorry again about the pug talk lol. It is christmas after all LOL

    Thanks

    Andy

i would have thought you'd need a single plug vtr engine, from the mk1's. Some one has done it on here already ! Lee i think his name

it can be done, if you are putting a 3 plug ECU in the car, it has to be from that engine, its same as my engine im doing

got a 1 plug vtr engine in atm, but putting a newer engine in so i need the 3 plug ecu, which i have

as long as you have the ECU and wireing loom it should be fairly easy

my mate did it with his quicksilver not so long ago aswell

keep the 1400 box though, rapid acceleration
