    Going to get a new oil filter for my 02 plate vts, recommend any??

    the cheapest oem you can buy there relly isnt any differnce in them

    well i can get on for £7 or a blitz one for £40 i only like buying decent stuff for my car i just dont know what difference there is

    blitz oil filter?? what would a "performance" oil filter do to be honest, the only thing i can think of would be faster cleaning ? but then how would that gain the engine not being funny but you have to weigh up four times the price for actully gains you no what i mean

    yeah well i dont know how important they are well ill put the extra money towards other parts

    oem mate dont dare buy one for £40 halfords oil filter more than good enough

    I'd change it 4 times as often rather than purchase a really really expensive one

    Theres actually a big difference between a cheapo and a good one. By good one, I dont mean a 40 quid filter. As above, a Purflux OEM one is about 5 quid from GSF, best you can get.

    As long as you change it regularly, itll be fine though.

    Agreed

    Avoid champion filters, the coating is week and they burn through, which is a pain. Happened to me twice
