#8cam belt are around 10-20 quid. to get it done for u would be around 20 quid. you could do it yourself! getting the belt cover off it is the worst tho!!
-
#10yea i suppose so. Ive always done it myself so im not too sure really! prob bout 2-3 hours work. 40-50 buk sounds bout right!
-
#11id say about £200 tbh
-
#12my advice, dont do it half assed, i'm in the middle of changing mine at the moment, i recomend changing the tensioner aswell as they have a tendancy to go wrong with the pressure of a new belt, and check/change the water pump as its only 2 bolts once the belt is off and saves you future trouble.
It cost me £34 for a cam belt and tensioner (recomended), £5 for an alternator belt, £25 for a water pump: total £64 -
#13if you supply a cam belt / water pump / tensioner etc.. then a garage will charge u around 100 quid to do it... if you want them to supply it will be closer to 180 normally...
do it yourself and save some money.. takes about an hour tops.. get a haynes if your not sure

#14If in doubt - change it.
Doing this to my cars has meant I've never had a cambelt snap -
#15mines done 56k will be getting it changed in Jan/Feb
