    Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone on here is running bike carbs.

When new years in, im looking at camming and carbing my vtr mrk 2.

Just wondering about what parts everyone used. Ive heard some use a modified standard manifold. Is it Shenpa or some rally derived company? that setup etc carbs, sop they provide parts?

also how difficult did you find the setup on the carbs as appose to jetting rather than remapping the ecu.

If anyones got any info on it, would be greatly appreciated!

also what sort of power gains did you recieve?

what sort of thing to bogg bros do?

Being a motocross racer ive got pretty good knowledge on jetting carbs, and have s few contacts that can help!.

Im more interested in finding out what parts ill need to do the conversion and how eassy it is. fuel regulators, manifold?(how do i modify a stock one, which ive heard is possible), or are there any alternatives? etc etc

use R1 carbs or similar. not sure what size jets you need for a 1600 but for a 2ltr you need about 1.8mm. i havent really looked into it on teh citroen engiens just on the 2ltr vauxhall engines. you will probably be able to use the R1 pump aswell as that regulates the fuel pressure itself, although im not sure if the pressure will be correct for the 1600.

boggbros do a drive in drive out thing for about £700 all in, that includes setting it up on the rollers.
