Rattle inside exhaust

   Has anyone got an idea what it means when there is a rattle inside the pipe after the cat?
   I reckon there is some sort of shield that has came loose and rattles when i up the revs.

   take it off and get the part out. It could mean that the cat won't function correctly now so that might need replacing - or just change for a performance centre section
   
   Are you sure its not a lose heat shield.

   cool. Am pretty sure its inside the mid-section. Unless there is a heat shield inside it then no it cant be. thanks!

   i had the same problem on my old car. it ended up to be something to do with the cat. it was years ago so can`t remember exactly
