removing the cam cover?

    i want to remove my cam cover to spray it, but theres sum lil bit at the top right corner attatche to it. how do i remove this plz peeps n will it efect the engien if i do this or is it a simple task thanx guys.... its a vtr engien

    just tape newspaper around the the rocker cover, and spray it, easier job tbh
