cat

rite from the cat backwards is stainless steel, now there is a rattle coming from the cat so it is time to replace it. Any ideas on weather straight through a standard cat or a de cat

put a de-cat in, sell your cat on ebay there is a bloke who bought mine and many others from other cars for £40 he bought mine excl postage, he must get some money for the element in side.
use that money to buy a new cat to use for mot time.

Just a word of warning, although I have de-cated mine. It will fail the MOT, so you will need a cat of some sort somewhere along the line. But de-cat ftw!

scrappies buy your old cat`s. ma mate got 50quid for a rattley cat. but like said before you will need a cat for mot time or it will fail

    Wont damage your car no.

but its not as simple for you.

you will need a new manifold. not just a de-cat pipe.
