    am just checking the strutbracer site about purchasing an upper brace for my mark 1 vtr. now, its says all models for certain dates or vtr/vts.

    am i best off purchasing the one for the vtr as its the one with the bend in it??

    i got a E-Tech one and i think its sweeet as a nut its in chrome though, but i like abit of shinee

    seams pretty sturdy to me, think im gettin an omp after crimbo, as iv got a omp lower to go on, so think il match em up

    but for origonal question, any for a saxo vtr/s or 106 gti should fit

    for a mk1 sure the omp upper brace you need to take the bonnet rod off or something to fit it.

    sure people with mk1s normally get teh sparco upper brace.

    i only got my 2 uppers i have had as people with mk1s had them and didnt want to take the stays off.
    (had 1 on my mk2 vtr which i sold nd 2nd is on my mk2 vts)

    so if the black rod has to come off what happens when you need to put the bonnet up?

    do you mean gas dampers? would it just not be easier to keep the rod handy and put it back on when bonnet needs to be lifted up??

    keep it in your boot, so if you ever need it, its there. you can un hook it and take it off.

    where do you find these gas dampers then, also any one know where i can get a yellow omp upper and lower brace lol

    dont think you can buy them like it, just spray it yellow when you get them.

    no problems, although im gonna leave mine red. the best colour me thinks for it.
