Exhaust Advice

    Hey guys need some advice on what exhaust to choose! I do want a really nice deep sound but i also am after looks hence the choice of the second one! Anyway your thoughts please!

    ive got a 4-2-1 manifold so hoping that will affect the sound too!

    I currently have this :- Supersprint Centre Pipe for Citroen Saxo VTR *Race only* (Which is a decat also)


    Cant decide between:

    Supersprint Back Box for Citroen Saxo *Race only*


    Or

    RACELAND STAINLESS STEEL TWIN EXHAUST

    wow i want both, well i like the double exhaust but it loses power apparently

    personaly i dont really like the supersprint but cantre section is good choice

    cant stand the double exits, if you want a deep throaty sound best zorst imo is magnex but saxos dont generally sound deep they are more of a tinny raspy sorta sound.

    Mine burbles and pops.....sounds good

    magnex have a short exit aswel which i think looks really nice get 3.5" exit mate you won't be dissapointed. :d

    My saxo sounds VERY deep, with NO rasp what so ever!!
    If you want a deep note you really need a twin box system mate

    ive got a full stainless magnex atm and i wanna get rid of it, fast. i hate it. i hate the looks of it and i dont particularly like the sound. but its all personal opinion!

    Good lad, get rid imo

    Manifold and the racing box will sound raspy

    You need a decent induction kit combined with that exhaust to change the note more, manifold reduces flow so makes the noise given a slightly higher pitch iirc

    well ive got a BMC so hoping thats good enough lol!

    any1 with the full supersprint / BMC / Manifold? long shot but possibility

    that exhaust is pipe bias, wont get max performance i dont think.

    where i have mine, i have 1 box in the middle, with the pipes comin out, not a box on 1 side with a extra pipe welded on, cheap way around it tbh

    i notice a gain in pull in my car when i put the twin box on but i also put the race center on aswell.

    but i cant say its lost at all

    imo its all the induction kit that sounds deep, ive seen alota saxos an neva heard any VERY deep ones. and the post after yours mate i only meant the magnex back box, i like the look and ive heard one and personally thought it sounded really good however manifold wasn't on car so obviously would have a difference in tone

    ps twin exits r still poo lol

    i got same pipe as coonper thats an ashley exhaust thats quite a deep sound. i must agree about the magnex the ones i have heard done really sound that much different from standard.

    single exits are common as muck tho
