What you guys think of these?

Are they worth £45. I've heard that although they improve the MPG of your car, they also wear away at your pistons!?

Is this true?

ive heard alot of different things about them, they do improve mpg,are supposed to make the throttle more responsive! my bro has one on his clio and says its pretty good and does make it a little more responsive! they do make a horrid noise but u can get a silencer to stop that! ive also heard that there a waste of money and dont do anything!

they were ordered by court to remove claims that they could do what they say they do due to there being no proof

Got one fitted to my Phase II VTR - it seems to help on the MPG side of things and the engine has perked up a little but the sound it makes takes getting used to! Tried fitting a pipercross filter over it but they just keep working loose. The other downside is that you have to calibrate the damn thing and that can be pretty hit or miss. Another problem is where to put it! I had mine professionally installed and the mechanic attached it to my strut brace as he wasn`t happy putting it anywhere else! Still, it looks nice
