17" fitment

   hi all, just got sum 17" wolfrace yakuzas for xmas, they have 205/40/17 rubber and i have a vtr lowered 50mm all round, just wonderin if n e 1 can tell me exactly wot im guna hav 2 do 2 get em on?? wolfrace told me will need to go to body shop to get arches widened, is this really necesary, how much is this guna cost, what size spacers should i get?? gratefull 4 n e help. cheers tom

   Spacers + Archs will need to be rolled.. 17" alloys on a sax are way to big and unneeded.

   i used to roll with 17"inch rim's on mine had them on there for about 3 days had to roll eacj arch remove inner wheel arch linings etc and that was only on a 40 mm drop... just think wisely about how you want to use your car before commeting to getting the work done as i could never get the car on full lock...

   17s dont fit - from an mot stand point
   
   you need spacers if they are too wide and arch work.

   If you buy the saxo modifing bookittellsyou all you need to know about fitting 17"rims mate i done all the work and i still had hassel so just put my vts rims back on and sold th 17ns!
