clutch change on a VTR

    hi

gonna be doing a clutch change on a VTR (01) tomorrow morning,

i've read from several forums and noticed one post about changing the shaft seals and oil whilst doing the job how long will this take extra? and where for the seals, Citroen?,

thrust bearing has collapsed by the looks of it, also came across a couple of posts about it being an arse to do

not what i wanted to read,

dont really mess with clutches much to be honest, more of an engine and brakes myself, last clutch i did was on a cavalier GSI which was a doddle with the service plate, i've gathered it's a box off job for this one.

any tips that anyone can point out before i get stuck in? like i said, it's been a while since i've last done a clutch by gearbox off, might by a haynes for it a think!

picked up a clutch from partco.

any pointers and tips from anyone? a how to would be good!

    seals are like 30second job,

dunno how much they are but mine cost me 99p each through work.

    just put them in square
