upgrading brakes

   I need to change the brakes on my car as there basically shit! i want to change disc and pads but im not sure which to go for!?
   
   im thinking of either ebc or red dot as dont want to spend a fortune but want them to be good! ive heard the ebc brakes are good!
   
   any help or suggestions or what not to go for???

   I have heard better rating for Red dot then EBC, but EBC's new anti brake dust pads are supposed to be good.
   For some good offers on both speak to Gaz (GSMotorsport)
   
   Another good idea, may be to look into a set of GTi-6 front brakes (calipers and disc setup) as these are supposedly quite easy to get on and alot better brakes.

   bigger discs are the only real way to improve braking performance. Steer clear of EBC cracking thread on ssc about them and general idea was they are dreadful and that was even after EBC sent free discs and pads to people

   i put red dot disks with about 20 grooves on and ebc green stuff pads, much better feel and stopping power but they still fade! they're noisy too when u heat them up.
