Do you have to buy percific stretched tryes or do you just buy normal tyres and have them stretched on? As i would like some for my Rallye Steel Wheels which are 185/55/14

#2I think that you just buy normal tyres and can stretch them on, but i know that they are a lot more expensive
-
#3alot more expensive? normal tyres?
-
#4Yeah because they are narrower, like you get on classic cars, so not many places do them, meaning the price is hight than the cost of a normal tyre.

#5PM saxo_ash he has strecthed on his
-
#6Yep, on alloy wheels you are ok but steel wheels.. getting thinner tires for steel wheels is hard job. I had my old BK Racing alloys with stretched tires, looked the beans!
-
#7what type of rallye steels have you got ?
if you have s2 steels you can buy 195/45/14 tyres to go on them.
they look immense !!! -
#8Surley thats the opposite of stretching?? Wont that make em pretrude form the edge of the rim?? I'd have thought a steelie would be something like 155 wide??
-
#10Yep, thinking about it rhysvts is correct, go for it!
-
#11Stretching is normally extra wide rims with normal sized tyres!
