desire spark plugs

   where do the spark plugs hide? and how do you remove the black & yellow connectors ?
   
   ansdwers much appreciate.
   
   this were a lot easier when i did all this in the seventy's

   Hey, welcome to the site, you prob will get a more comprehensive reply if you post in problems/queries or engine and performance section.
   
   Basically on a desire, which is a model that only appeared on a mk2 *i think* it'll either have 1.1mpi or 1.4mpi, with both these engines the spark plugs can be found at the back of the head.
   
   The black plastic thing running the entire length of and parrallel to the head is the coil pack, removing this will give you access to the plugs.
