#2might pass mot without cat but cant say for sure, you need to get a gas test after you decat it to know for sure
-
#3having a de-cat will fail your MOT especially if you put on a straight through pipe as emission tests a getting tougher to pass.
But you can always put it on and replace cat when MOT due.
Or you could put on a sports cat as some garages will pass it with these on as the do roughly the same job as a cat but just free up the gasses a bit more than your standard cat. -
#4yes it will affect mot, but there is a button on here mate called search, use it. Btw are you charmillionaire "They see me rolling they hating"

#6if the cat is in the manifold then just get a cat back centre section. You won't gain masses of extra power by removing the existing one and sports cats are pricey.
for maximum performance a straight through race system is the best bet* .. but if you just want something that sounds good and aren't squeezing ever last bhp out and don't want the hassle of changing every year then cat back setup is good enough.
*my personal fav
