its a tidy look we dont see much in the UK. I quite like that one

sax looks good, whats the widest wheels that can go on a saxo vtr? 15 inch without any major mods?
  8. #8
    7" or 7.5" really.

8" i think would be pushing it.

Mine are 8" but with wide arches, and i know off saxos with 9" wheels, also however major arch work.

  9. #9
so would this be possible or any trouble at all
    15 X 7.5 with a 50mm drop all round?
  10. #10
You'd get trouble on the arch inner with that I reckon. Will need a bit of work on the inside of the arch. But will look good.
    Just remember the law about
'none of the tyre wall should be seen protruding from the arch'

The wheels in that pic are 8" wide...how much arch work are we talkin to get them on? Any ideas??

Also got a 50mm drop on mine...might just wait till i can afford an air ride kit n sum phat 14's
  12. #12
it would need wheels that have tyres with curved tyre walls on them.
At a guess, I would sayquite a bit of inner arch extending and arch liner removal will be needed to get them on, and to still be legal get some wider arches.
Because to me , that car in the pic looks as if the tyres are poking about a bit from the arch at the front. Or maybe being European, the laws could be different out there ? Not to sure on that one.
