c2 GT wheels on a mk1 vtr

  1. #1
does any one know if the 16" wheels from the C2 GT (the white ones) will fit straight on to my mk1 vtr? it's lowered 55mm front and 60mm back, with arches cut to hell to accept 17's, but decided to compromise style for decent handling. cheers

hmm i dunno but they would look sweet i reckon

I asked Citroen this and the guy reckons they are a different offset to older citroens.
I have seen them on a saxo before, but maybe they had some of the inner part of the wheel shaved of to fit the saxo?

yeah, i saw them on a saxo round my area, although they were the 15" but same style. my vtr is racing green, so reckon the white ones would look wicked. mind you, if i tint the windows, maybe the silver ones would look better.... christ! i remember when i bought the car- "just gonna lower it and get an exhaust, keep it sensible".....

they are a different offset, you will need 10 mm spacers and extended bolts

Scott is right, I have tried my old saxo alloys on the C2 but the spacer i had was too thick for them (OZ alloys with ford fitment and spacer to fit saxo) they actually seemed to be different where the bolts were but it was just the different offset that didn't help.

I wanna get some new alloys for my C2 but not sure what type to get... any suggestions?

    cool, thanks guys.
as for different alloys for your C2, what about Masitaly vt7's? not sure if u can still get them, or if u can get them in the C2's offset, but think they'll look wicked coz they do kinda look like the C2's wheels.
either that or the latest OZ super T's, 18" in white.
    just a thought.

going for the dark look so will be looking at a dark chrome or actually black! I used to love those masitaly ones but haven't seen them around lately! Will be looking for some 19" but seen the boss xts ones which i thought could look good...
