Saxo Header Information

  1. #1
Hi All, I'm new here and really hope somebody can help.

I understand that the saxo came with a number of different engine types:

    Size CC Type
    954 TU9 14
    1124 TU1 14
    1360 TU3 14
    1587 TU5 14

What I need to know is if these different types can share the same exhaust header (probably not) and what the fireing Order of each type is along with an understanding of where #1 cylinder is i.e. Near side or off side.

    Thanks in advance!

    do you mean manifolds?
  3. #3
    cylinder 1 is nearest flywheel.
i think the 1.4 and 1.6 8v manifolds will fit each other aswell.
  4. #4
Yep, exhaust manifold is what I meant. Do you know if there is a guide to tell me what cars have what engine i.e. 8v / 16v etc? This may sound like a silly question but I have no idea about the Saxo varients but do have an idea about a manifold that you boys will really like.

    Cheers,

The manifolds from the 1.4 and 1.6 both fit appart from on the later saxos with the cat in the manifold you have to move the oil filter there is a awesome guide on this site i followed this to fit my manifold to my mk2 vtr
