Whats The Difference...?

    Hi,

Im kinda new to the Saxo scene (and loving it)..!

I had a 1.2 corsa for years, and ive recently bought a 1999 VTS off my bro, and dont know a lot about the engine tbh.. apart from the saxo is a wee tiny bit faster lol

Whats the main differences in a VTS and a VTR?

Sorry if this is a silly question

    Thanks

I'll start here, probs miss something but anyway...
VTS is 16v engine, the VTR is only 8v - both are 1.6.
    The two have different interiors.
They also have different style alloys.

That;s all I can remember at the mo.

    Oh, and welcome to Sax-p!

the vtr is the one to get, the vts is twice as high on insurance and because it has a 16v engine its heavier and doesnt handle as well, and the vts isnt as reliable.

lol lets be honest here.. if i could afford a vts i would have one in a second BUT i cant and tbh there is not a massive amount of difference but still extra bhp is always a bonus

its not just the power etc m8, im sure vts owners will agree it's the rep tht goes with ownin a vts thts good. they pretty rare sight were i live and its not too easy to get one because of insurance so to have, own and cherrish one is the bonus!
