99/00 Mk2 Saxo VTS has ECU Single Plug?

   Hey there
   
   Just about to buy VTS engine, its from a Mk2, its a 99/00 on the cross over between the MK1 and the MK2, it appears to have the single ECU plug setup.
   
   
   
   I want to drop it in my VTR, which is a 98'... been practically impossible to find a Mk1 98' VTS engine, so this is second best option but on appearance can see that the early mk2 has the same wiring as the mk1..
   
   Am i right in thinking this?

   yep you sure are. my bottom end went the other day on my 98 vts, and i had a mk2 vts engine deliverd yesterday morning. i checked the loom, and its a single plug the same so u can use that loom =D plug and play
